On the weekends, I do not go into the hospital for treatments. Instead, I get to rest and take Apatone in pill form. I have to take 1 pill every 2 hours, 5 pills total for each day. Apatone is a proprietary solution that combines vitamin K3 and vitamin C. Vitamin C is an active antioxidant that has been found to prevent the induction of tumors in clinical experiments, while vitamin K3 alone was found to present antitumor activity. Apatone combines vitamin C and vitamin K3 in a 100:1 ratio. Studies found that the two vitamins may work synergistically to inhibit the growth of cancer cells and induce cell death via apoptosis. Initial clinical research suggests that Apatone may work as an alternative cancer treatment by reducing compounds in tumors that contribute to energy production and provide protection against chemotherapy. This essentially allows for precise targeting of tumor cells without harming surrounding healthy tissue, containing normal cells. A standard therapy, such as chemotherapy or radiation, may eradicate cancer cells. However, any healthy cells and normal cells may be impacted by the harsh treatment. I was feeling a little under the weather this weekend, which was to be expected from my week of intense treatments; but I was able to get some much needed rest. I was able to dip my toes into the ocean and enjoy some time with my parents and my son on the beach. Just hearing the waves was so soothing and getting some fresh air and sun was much needed for my healing. The ocean is in view of our condo where we are staying, and we can just walk down some stairs and be on the beach. I fall asleep to the ocean waves every night. I continued eating my organic plant based diet and drank my juices over the weekend. Diet plays a huge role when fighting cancer. An organic plant based diet is best. Cancer cells love sugar, but natural fruit sugar is good for you. Blueberries are one of the best fruits for cancer. The best veggies are carrots, celery, and broccoli. Let’s say that I have consumed so much carrot juice in the last few weeks, that I’m starting to feel like a rabbit…lol. I’m off to bed and will be starting treatment again tomorrow at the hospital. I will keep everyone posted!
